Biography- Sara Gardner
Sara provides town and community planning advice. A Principal with Imai Keller Moore Architects, Inc., Sara brings over 30 years of experience on both Healthcare and Higher Educational Projects. During her tenure at Shepley Bulfinch Architects, Boston, Ma, and IKMA, Inc., she gained experience ranging in scope from large scale Healthcare Center Master plans and new building feasibility studies to the actual project management of fit-outs in existing Healthcare and Laboratory facilities. Her strength lies in gaining consensus among diverse constituencies and providing the bridge between the Master plan ‘big idea’ and the implementation of a project. Her focus on Medical Education Facilities resulted in her presentation at a Tradelines Academic Medical Centers Conference, titled, “Rationale and Successful Strategies for Integrating Medical Education and Clinical Work”. She has served on the Boards of the Beacon Hill Civic Association and of the Cambridge Center For Adult Education. Having graduated from Vassar College with a BA in Ecology Conservation, Sara received her Master’s in Design from the University of Kansas School of Architecture and Urban Design; Lawrence, KS.
